The Colapz team has a lot of experience when it comes to camping and caravanning. In fact, our idea to create innovative and space-saving products came when caravanning and it started us on the journey of designing and developing the Colapz range. Along with our friends over at Caravan Talk, we have developed a list of our favourite caravan and camping spots around the UK. So pack up your Colapz bucket and tent and jump in the car. We’re taking a tour around the UK’s best campsites that you can stay in this summer.

1. Bay View Farm Camping Site, Cornwall

Promising a warm welcome this campsite has stunning views across the South West coast, overlooking Looe and St George’s Island. The nearby fishing village has a beach and cafes offering cream teas. There’s even a monkey sanctuary nearby.

2. Ayr Holiday Park, St Ives

The only holiday park in St Ives itself it’s a popular hangout for surfers thanks to its proximity to the beach. Porthmeor Beach isn’t just for catching waves; a lazy day at the seaside or capturing beautiful sunsets make this an idyllic spot for a break.

3. Dale Hall Farm Campsite, Wales

The stunning Pembrokeshire countryside and coastline are on the doorstep of campers in this field. Ideal for families there’s a nearby pontoon and boat trips take you out to Skomer and Skokholm. Explore the rest of South Wales and it’s beautiful landscapes, like waterfall country in the Valleys from here too.

4. Gibraltar Farm Campsite, Lancashire

The prettiest campsite in Morecambe this is based on a traditional family run working farm. Close to Morecambe Bay, you can go walking, swimming, explore ancient woodland and open grassland.

5. Hooks House Farm, Yorkshire

Close to the striking Robin Hood Bay, famous for its smuggler's cove, at this campsite, you’re on the Coast to Coast Walk from St Bees Head. Explore from Scarborough to Whitby.

6. Springhall Farm, Northumberland

A scenic glamping site to enjoy Northumberland’s coast and beautiful countryside. Breathtaking beaches are just a stone’s throw from this campsite as well as nearby Bamburgh with its stunning castle and quaint village.

7. Elephant Lodge, Kent

A glampsite at the wild animal park in Port Lympne. What’s not to like? Tents come complete with private bathrooms, log burning stoves and out on deck you look over to the elephant paddock.

8. Seithfed nef, Gwynedd

Truly you’re in Seventh Heaven at this glampsite. Each of the three bell tents sits in its own field. With the stunning welsh coastline around you, you can guarantee peace, tranquillity and beauty. Read, walk, rest, dose, sunbathe. The perfect break.

9. Wild Luxury, Norfolk

The Norfolk Glamping Company offers luxury in a wild setting. Safari lodges along with creature comforts mean you get the best of both worlds. Plenty of space and on the beautiful Norfolk Coast it’s an ideal holiday spot.

10. Cwmcarn Forest

Hire one of the 10 camping pods in this Valleys campsite and enjoy some of the more high-octane activities South Wales has to offer. Cwmcarn is known by mountain bikers for its awesome trails, including a Black Trail. There are family and beginner routes. You can cycle, walk and enjoy some of the most striking countrysides in the UK.
